Meet The Group

Executive Committee

 

  • Elisenne is a French American fourth year studying International Relations and Chinese Studies from New York, NY. She spent the last semester in Taipei, Taiwan, where she studied Mandarin and immersed herself in Taiwanese culture. She also has a keen interest in journalism, and in her free time likes to spend time with her siblings and friends, bake, and travel!

  • Gokul, a California native, is a fourth-year student of International Relations and German. Passionate about cross-cultural education, he spent a semester abroad at the University of Bonn. His academic focus is on defense policy, particularly where legal frameworks intersect with aerospace and AI technologies. Outside the classroom, you’ll likely find him playing tennis or watching true-crime shows.

  • Daria is a final year MA International Relations and Middle East Studies student. She comes from Romania, where she has already established herself as a journalist writing foreign policy analyses for multiple national and international publications and hosting her own geopolitics focused radio show.

 

  • Emma is a third year Ancient History and International Relations student from Charlottesville, Virginia. When not working on essays, she spends her time making graphics, reading history books, or getting coffee with friends. She enjoys writing about gender, American politics, climate change, and Classics.

  • Julianna is a third year MA International Relations student. She is passionate about travel and learning languages; speaking English and Spanish and having studied German and Italian throughout her sub-honours. As an Ecuadorian-American, Julianna is increasingly interested in learning about Latin American Relations with the Northern Hemisphere and is eager to pursue a Law Degree after completion of her MA. Outside of academics, Julianna enjoys reading, going on walks, art, and podcast creation.
