Laurent Bélanger

Founder and President-Emeritus

Laurent is a graduate of the University of St Andrews, where he read Philosophy and Modern History.

In his spare time, Laurent was heavily involved in the St Andrean community. He served as the President of the St Andrews chapter of European Horizons, a transatlantic think tank dedicated to promoting the European Project, and is an executive director of the sexual assault advocacy charity Rise Beyond. He previously served as the Liaison Officer for HeForShe St Andrews, a branch of the UN initiative fighting for gender equality.

Before taking on his duties at The Roosevelt Group, Laurent graduated with distinction from the Collegiate Summer Programme at the London School of Economics, where he specialised in foreign policy analysis. In future, he hopes to be involved in meaningful public policy work, particularly in emerging markets.

Laurent is now pursuing a Masters from Sciences Po in Paris.
