Dain Rohtla

President

Dain is a fourth year Management student from Philadelphia, where he has lived all his life.

As Events Director he organised the Future of Energy panel discussion and the Teddy Roosevelt Launch dinner.

As President he is spreading Roosevelt by adding Ambassadors at other renowned universities and is focusing on more empirical and pragmatic writing.

Dain is highly involved in the St Andrean community. In addition to playing on the 1st Lacrosse team and acting (formerly) as its social media coordinator, social secretary, and treasury, he holds several other roles, including Head of the Economic Policy and Research Group and contributor to the St Andrews Year.

During his secondary school years, Dain interned for a brokerage firm on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, and built stock trading algorithms on his own time. He interned in Risk Management for Sallie Mae during university as well as a Fundamental Active Equities Summer Analyst for BlackRock. He intends to pursue a career in asset management after graduation.

Academics aside, Dain loves St Andrews for its international focus and its great opportunities for travel.
